Rare BZN Contorted Ginkgo Tree

'BZN' is a new selection of contorted ginkgo with a twisting habit to the branching. We expect it to reach 8 ft in 10 years. Fall color is a bright neon yellow. This is a ginkgo that looks very interesting even when the foliage has dropped as the contorted habit really creates some unique architectural shapes. This smaller specimen is great for a unique spot in the garden that also demands some strong fall color. 'BZN' works great in a planter to bring fall color to the deck or patio. Ginkgo are remarkably hardy plants and this one is no exception. 'BZN' does well in sun to part shade though we do recommend at least 4 hours of sun for faster growth rate. Ginkgo are also incredibly salt tolerant plants. Because of their fossil records and great heritage all over the globe Ginkgo make a fun plant to own and provide a prehistoric feel to the garden. For this reason kids love them. It feels like a plant a dinosaur may have walked past.
